Service Company of the Year 2006
June 10, 2006 was a day to remember in the 10 year history of Oslo Guidebureau AS. That was when we were named “Oslo’s Service Company of the Year 2006”
Members of the distinguished Jury were:
- Mr. Per Ditlev Simonsen, Mayor of Oslo, Chairman
- Mr. Magnus Kalleberg, Aftenposten
- Ms. Solveig Brembach, Nordea Bank
- Mr. Per Gunnar Rasmussen, BI Varehandel
- Jan Berggraf, Oslo Handelsstands Forening
The Jury’s verdict is as follows:
Oslo Guidebureau was formed by two enthusiastic ladies, Hilde Stoklasa and Marit Utaker, 10 years ago. Today they have more than 200 authorized city guides working for them, who in
their daily work represent the city with a smile, enthusiasm and top service. The company presents Oslo to the market in an excellent manner and it delivers a first class and punctual service to their clients 24
hours a day.
The company’s services are well tailored to the needs of the market, something that brings customers back time and again. Another important factor for the
Jury is the fact that Oslo Guidebureau’s activities give thousands of tourists a positive impression of the city every year strengthening Oslo’s quality profile both nationally and internationally.
All of this, of course, comes from their “never quit” attitude and love for the city. Customers perceive Oslo Guidebureau as a futuristic and innovative company and as being a big asset for Oslo as a
tourist city. The company has a stable and good economy and many satisfied employees.
