Oslo Guide Bureau will arrange big and small events of various kinds in the Oslo area. Beneath are some examples that can be used in conjunction with spouse programs, icebreakers or dinner arrangements.

Sleigh rides
Is there a more peaceful event than riding in a horse drawn sleigh through the woods in the winter time among snow laden pine trees and burning torches? As you pull up to wooden hut in the depth of the forest a wonderful meal will be served as by magic. In the summer time horse drawn carriages can be used for tours in e.g. the Kvadraturen, Oslo’s old historic city centre.

Oslo from the air
Oslo Guidebureau has the most experienced helicopter guides in town. Let them take you on a thirty minute guided flight over the city staring/ending at Gardermoen airport including view of  Holmenkollen, the city centre, the fjord and Oscarsborg castle. Returning to the airport across Nesodden . A guaranteed unforgettable experience!

Hadeland and Bærums Verk
On the road to the glassworks at Hadeland you can enjoy the beauty of the nature along lake Tyrifjorden and the exquisite view from the ‘Queens viewpoint’. Arriving at the glassworks you will be given a tour of the area and there will be time for shopping. As you continue to Bærums Verk it will be time for lunch at the old tavern. After lunch the resident ‘400 year old’ sisters will go through the ancient history of the former iron works before it is time for a little browsing through the areas delightful craft shops.

Tradition and history in Oslo
This tour starts at the Norwegian museum of cultural history where norwegian customs and traditions will be explained. We take you through the indoor exhibit of the traditional costumes and handicraft. A visit to the Viking Ship Museum precedes the ferry ride back to the City hall and the short walk to the Theatercafeen where lunch is served.

A maritime evening
A visit to the Fram and Kon Tiki museums with guide and a cocktail included. Outside the museum a ‘leikaring’ will give a short introduction to the Norwegian folk dancing, before  it is time to board one of the charter yachts for an evening of leisurely cruising the Oslo fjord.

Icebreaker / Aperitif
Does an icebreaker cocktail in special surroundings sound interesting? Oslo Guidebureau can arrange a visit on board the polar vessel the Fram, or amongst the ships of the Viking Ship Museum, or even at the ski jump at Holmenkollen. We arrange for extra openinghours of the museums, transport and an interesting but light guiding to accompany the drinks.
